Great location!!
Riverview from your deck and river access. Partial lake views. Watch the boats float by on the beautiful Nottawasaga river on your deck or simply walk 2 minutes across the bridge and you're easily in the Beach 1 area.
Simple 2 bedroom cottage with a deck with a view. Sleeps up to 6 people. 2 bedrooms each with a double bed. Double pull out futon in the living room.
Full kitchen, A/C, WIFI, Flatscreen, Fire Stick streaming.
6 communal BBQs and communal fire pit. Space for (2) Cars Only - no extras please.
Please note that this is not a party place. And with that, no visitors. Our preference is to groups, families, couples who can respect their fellow vacationers on the property.
-For the best service, notify us if you expect to arrive after the check in time so we can try to still greet you and personally show you in.
-Only planned guests permitted on the property.
-Parking for 2 cars only - no extras.
-Sorry, we can't give early check ins. From 11am until 3pm we're usually very busy preparing for everyone.
-Pet friendly, but one pet only. Please don't leave it alone or allow it on beds and furniture.
-Outdoor speakers are strongly discouraged

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel less than 14 days away from your check in date, we will do our best to rent the cottage out again for the rental period you have reserved. If we are successful, we are happy to refund the down payment minus $50 for a Processing Fee. If we are not able to rent out the property, despite our best efforts, and the property remains vacant during part or all of your reserved dates, your reservation will be subject to the following:
Travelers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.
Deposit Policy
Refundable $100 damage/extra cleaning deposit is required upon check in

We originally booked a 3 day trip at Talbots place , and loved it so much that we extended our trip. The place was small , but so cozy and very much like a cottage home. It’s a beautiful location on the lake and not even a 5 minute walk to the beach. It’s also a close walk to the grocery store, and fast good places. When wasaga is quiet at night, the place has your own private fire in the backyard to keep the party going. We plan on staying here again .

Summary: We chose this place during the off-season (winter) for the price ($161/night for 6 guests) and got what we paid for. Good price and location, but lack of communication in the check-in process was a concern. Overall, I would recommend this place but just have reasonable expectations set.
PROS:
- cheap price
- good location
- hosts are nice and accessible (on-site at least)
- accommodations are decent (no 5 star hotel but gets the job done)
CONS:
- small place
- poor communication for check-in process (I was not contacted at all and had to knock on neighbours door to find host)
- certain neighbours can be a little sketchy
- parking situation unclear (conflicting information on the listing)

Great place, great views. Hosts were excellent. Once we checked in we weren’t bothered at all. But they were easily accessible in case we had any questions. Only negative was the cabin was small for the price. Very expensive and it sleeps 6 small adults. Paid 1332 for 2 nights.

Cute, clean but very small cottage right near Beach 1.
Very new owners - that week in fact.
Staff there are very nice and helpful.
LOTS of young men partying in surrounding cottages on the lot. This isnt a quiet place, at least not that weekend. We didnt mind but families might if thats a trend and becasue its Wasaga - it might be.
The downside:
The Air B&B ad and description of the sleeping arrangements was incorrect. It said and showed 2 bedrooms with a bunk bed in each (single on top and double on the bottom) plus a futon bed in the living room, - so 5 beds. There were 5 adult women getting away from husbands and kids and when the first 3 of us got there we were shocked to see that there were only 3 beds. A small double bed in each room and the futon.
This resulted in one of our friends deciding NOT to come and the other having to turn around while on route to grab her blow up mattress which barely fit in the living room.
This was VERY disappointing and there was no solution or anything offered when we brought it to the attention of the owner.
I would double check with the owner prior to booking to ensure the bedrooms and beds are exactly what is shown. Also, double check on the parking arrangements.
