Come stay at a piece of historic Wasaga, built in the 1920's as The Lashbrooks, a semi-famous fishing retreat regularly attracting guests from all over North America. Simple two bedroom cottage, 1 double bed, 1 queen bed, and single pullout, air-conditioning, kitchenette, Wi-Fi, cable TV/streaming, flat screen, individual BBQ, communal fire pit and free parking (one car per cottage) on site.
Dock and deck right on the river for peace, relaxation and a few cold ones. Communal campfire to make friends at.
Great for families, as well as younger or older groups
An easy 4 minute walk to Wasaga beach #3.
Now offering kayak, paddleboat, and canoe rental.
There is a $35 pet fee per pet (1 only please). If you haven't already paid it online, please present it at check in.
Check in -
We or our staff are often there, but if not, we've already planned for you! We will have the keys set up for you to retrieve on site. We love it when you can notify us if you're going to be alot later than the check in time and that helps us plan. Furthermore, we're a really busy family, so early check in isn't possible - there's times that we have to be out for supplies or personal things.
A few of our guidlines-
Not a party place. Most of our guests are here for peace and relaxation.
No visitors please. Only registered guests preferred.
One car per cottage. Others can park for free at nearby side streets.
11pm is quiet time all across Wasaga Beach.

Policies
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel less than 14 days away from your check in date, we will do our best to rent the cottage out again for the rental period you have reserved. If we are successful, we are happy to refund the down payment minus $50 for a Processing Fee. If we are not able to rent out the property, despite our best efforts, and the property remains vacant during part or all of your reserved dates, your reservation will be subject to the following:
Travelers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.
Deposit Policy
Refundable $100 damage/extra cleaning deposit is required upon check in

This place is really cute for glamping (we’re from Northern Ontario and usually cottages are not this comfy haha).
There is an amazing ice cream shop, kitty corner to the cabins that has amazing vegan ice cream and of course fudge, cookies & dairy ice cream.
Beach 3, is literally a 3min walk down 22nd ave and the main beach is only a 5min drive.
Host was responsive, place had what we needed and the location was perfect - night time was peaceful and quiet as it’s not close to any "party" spots.
Would certainly stay again!

This place is amazing! It's really close to the beach and well organized. I loved the little activities (Kayak, bikes) that possible to do. Also great ice cream right around the corner to go see the sunset on the beach not more than 2 minutes away.
the hosts are super responsive and very kind people communicating with them was easy and provided us with any information or things that we needed in the prompt matter.
There is also a happy family vibe which is very friendly. Poeple is out grilling on BBQ and having a great time. I could not recommend this place enough. You should try by yourself to see how relaxing it 🙂

the shower was extremely small and cramped. the shower head would not adjust or move, just sprayed the back of the shower. beds comfortable but only a small bar fridge for groceries. overall we enjoyed our stay with the fire pit, dock, kayaking and beautiful deck overlooking the river.

We enjoyed this little cottage for the very first time this past week and we are already talking about making it our “new getaway spot”. The price is great, the beach is close, and we were able to sleep in peace and quiet at night. The main strip is close enough that you don’t have to drive far to get there, and far enough that you can stay away from the party 24/7 side of the beach and enjoy the “family side” of the beach.
Amazing ice cream/sweet shop two minute walk down the street - this place has it all!
