Come stay at a piece of historic Wasaga, built in the 1920's as The Lashbrooks, a semi-famous fishing retreat regularly attracting guests from all over North America. Simple one bedroom cottage, queen bed, with air-conditioning, kitchenette, Wi-Fi, cable TV/streaming and flat screen, individual BBQ, communal fire pit and free parking (one car per cottage) on site. Docks and deck right on the water for peace, relaxation and a few cold ones. Communal campfire to make friends at.

There is a $35 pet fee per pet (1 only please). If you haven't already paid it online, please present it at check in.
Check in -
We or our staff are often there, but if not, we've already planned for you! We will have the keys set up for you to retrieve on site. We love it when you can notify us if you're going to be alot later than the check in time and that helps us plan. Furthermore, we're a really busy family, so early check in isn't possible - there's times that we have to be out for supplies or personal things.
A few of our guidlines-
Not a party place. Most of our guests are here for peace and relaxation.
No visitors please. Only registered guests preferred.
One car per cottage. Others can park for free at nearby side streets.
11pm is quiet time all across Wasaga Beach.

Policies
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel less than 14 days away from your check in date, we will do our best to rent the cottage out again for the rental period you have reserved. If we are successful, we are happy to refund the down payment minus $50 for a Processing Fee. If we are not able to rent out the property, despite our best efforts, and the property remains vacant during part or all of your reserved dates, your reservation will be subject to the following:
Travelers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.
Deposit Policy
Refundable $100 damage/extra cleaning deposit is required upon check in

Wonderful place to stay my first time and will definitely come back was such a relaxing place morning watching the boats while drinking my coffee, walking distance to the beach and dog beach if tou have a dog. The place was as described. It’s a very basic cottage but has all that is needed for a short and affordable stay. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. This property is not on the beach but it is close to the beach and it is on the edge of the river with a dock to sit on and enjoy the river. There are canoe and kayak rentals on the property too. It is also a short walk to get ice cream. I would definitely recommend this place

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at dockside. I will absolutely be coming back next season. I found the cottage to be equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable cosy stay.
Talbot and Tiffany are great hosts and I found that Talbot answered quickly and thoroughly any questions or concerns that I had. It was a great combination of a tad rustic and cozy.

This place is exactly what it seems like, it’s quiet, simple and relaxing! My boyfriend and I (and our puppy) loved staying here! It’s only a four minute walk to beach 3 AND the dog beach which was very convenient for us. Talbot and his wife were incredibly helpful and around to answer any questions whenever we had them! Would definitely stay here again!
