Come stay at a piece of historic Wasaga, built in the 1920's as The Lashbrooks, a semi-famous fishing retreat regularly attracting guests from all over North America. Simple one bedroom cottage, queen bed and futon with air-conditioning, kitchenette, Wi-Fi, cable TV/streaming and flat screen, individual BBQ, communal fire pit and free parking (one car per cottage) on site. Docks and deck right on the water for peace, relaxation and a few cold ones. Communal campfire to make friends at.

There is a $35 pet fee per pet (1 only please). If you haven't already paid it online, please present it at check in.
Check in -
We or our staff are often there, but if not, we've already planned for you! We will have the keys set up for you to retrieve on site. We love it when you can notify us if you're going to be alot later than the check in time and that helps us plan. Furthermore, we're a really busy family, so early check in isn't possible - there's times that we have to be out for supplies or personal things.
A few of our guidlines-
Not a party place. Most of our guests are here for peace and relaxation.
No visitors please. Only registered guests preferred.
One car per cottage. Others can park for free at nearby side streets.
11pm is quiet time all across Wasaga Beach.

Policies
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel less than 14 days away from your check in date, we will do our best to rent the cottage out again for the rental period you have reserved. If we are successful, we are happy to refund the down payment minus $50 for a Processing Fee. If we are not able to rent out the property, despite our best efforts, and the property remains vacant during part or all of your reserved dates, your reservation will be subject to the following:
Travelers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.
Deposit Policy
Refundable $100 damage/extra cleaning deposit is required upon check in

There are some small animals in and around the place but is not a big deal!!
just bring closed containers ect (found mouse feces in my puppies food dish and on my paper towels I’d stored on a shelf)
Quiet and pretty clean

This place was great, really close to the beach area and cozy. Love to spent the mornings walking on the beach and be able to walk back to Talbot’s place. The hostess were amazing and always there when needed, BBQ and appliances were good and the shower was powerful enough to clean everything off well

Dock Life cottages are a nice place to stay while visiting Wasaga Beach.
The cottages are simple and well-appointed with all of the things you will need for your stay. I was pleasantly surprised to find a kettle and toaster! (along with coffee maker and basic kitchen accessories). Each cottage has its own BBQ and picnic table, which is great.
The cottages are very close to each other so you may even make some new friends. Or keep to yourself! Everyone seems to do their own thing.
Being right on the river is nice, and the beach is only 5-minutes walk away (Beach area 3).
I enjoyed my 3-night stay and would consider booking again in the future.

Cottage was just as expected. Bedroom was actually bigger than I thought it would be and bed was comfortable. Had everything we needed during our stay including air conditioning, toaster, microwave, coffee maker with filters, BBQ, dishes, utensils and toilet paper. Tal and Tiffany were great hosts and were always around to chat. We spent alot of time on the dock watching the boats and jet skis go by. Great relaxing spot. Beach very close and clean.
