Come stay at a piece of historic Wasaga, built in the 1920's as The Lashbrooks, a semi-famous fishing retreat regularly attracting guests from all over North America. Simple two bedroom cottage with double beds, air-conditioning, kitchenette, Wi-Fi, cable TV/streaming, flat screen, individual BBQ, communal fire pit and free parking (one car per cottage) on site.
Dock and deck right on the river for peace, relaxation and a few cold ones. Communal campfire to make friends at.
Great for families, as well as younger or older groups
An easy 4 minute walk to Wasaga beach #3.
Now offering kayak, paddleboat, and canoe rental.
There is a $35 pet fee per pet (1 only please). If you haven't already paid it online, please present it at check in.
Check in -
We or our staff are often there, but if not, we've already planned for you! We will have the keys set up for you to retrieve on site. We love it when you can notify us if you're going to be alot later than the check in time and that helps us plan. Furthermore, we're a really busy family, so early check in isn't possible - there's times that we have to be out for supplies or personal things.
A few of our guidlines-
Not a party place. Most of our guests are here for peace and relaxation.
No visitors please. Only registered guests preferred.
One car per cottage. Others can park for free at nearby side streets.
11pm is quiet time all across Wasaga Beach.

Policies
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel less than 14 days away from your check in date, we will do our best to rent the cottage out again for the rental period you have reserved. If we are successful, we are happy to refund the down payment minus $50 for a Processing Fee. If we are not able to rent out the property, despite our best efforts, and the property remains vacant during part or all of your reserved dates, your reservation will be subject to the following:
Travelers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.
Deposit Policy
Refundable $100 damage/extra cleaning deposit is required upon check in

The owner were very welcoming. Friendly and accommodating. Definitely fun location good price of renting the kayak and the dock is easy access from the site. Evening bonfire was nice. The teens enjoyed the evening.

very easy going host, bbq is great for breakfast, they have a cozy firepit where all guests can meet and hang out if they choose to do so. Cottages don't share walls, they are fully detached, so noise isn't a problem. Great view on the river. The restroom is inside one of the bedrooms, so schedule your pit stops when multiple couples are staying.

My family and I enjoyed our 1 night stay!
Talbot and his wife offered us amazing service and great communication throughout our time there and prior to our stay.
The property is beautiful a great place to unwind and spend quality time with family and friends and also gives you the opportunity to get to know new people while you stay.
Paddle boat and canoe rentals were also a perk!
Over all talbot and his wife were very accommodating to our guests and ourselves.
